To be honest, I bought this monitor as a secondary PC display with low expectations due to its affordable price. The plastic exterior isn't premium, but it makes the unit very lightweight, which is a plus for portability. My biggest concerns about dead pixels or low image quality were unfounded. Despite its small 10.5-inch screen, the 1920x1280 Full HD resolution, 100% sRGB, and 8-bit color depth provided surprisingly clear images and excellent colors. HDR support also enhanced video immersion, and the quality even seemed better than my 14-inch office monitor. The 420 cd/㎡ brightness is sufficient for indoor use. It connects stably with various devices via Type-C and Mini HDMI. The full-featured Type-C allows power and display with one cable, which is convenient. It works perfectly with game consoles, smartphones, and laptops, offering excellent multi-platform versatility. While dual speakers are included, sound quality is basic. Considering the price, it's a very satisfying product.

The first thing that caught my eye was the user manual. It provided detailed instructions on various functions and usage, making it easy for even a first-time user like me to understand. Although, honestly, most people probably know how to use it without the manual.

Next, there was a foldable stand (bracket) to stably support the monitor. It seemed designed with portability in mind, compact and feeling weightless in a bag, making me think it would be great for use as a laptop's secondary monitor.

Connection cables are also included. An HDMI to Mini HDMI cable is provided, allowing easy connection to a PC or other devices. (However, as mentioned in other reviews, a C-to-C cable is not included in the basic package, which was a bit disappointing.) But don't worry, you don't need to buy an expensive one. A compatible cable can be easily found on online marketplaces like Amazon, so there's no need to spend a lot on a cable for a budget-friendly monitor. Haha.

Now, let's take a closer look at today's star, the ZSUS 10.5-inch portable monitor itself. The front features a clean black bezel, designed to keep your focus on the screen. On the back, the ZSUS logo is simply etched. Although some might find the plastic-like exterior material a bit disappointing, it allowed for an incredibly light weight of 233g, which is a huge advantage for those who prioritize portability.

The other side houses the power/back button, a convenient Wave Wheel (wheel button), and a 3.5mm earphone jack. It felt like a slim design that includes all necessary functions.
Full HD at This Price! Clarity is a Bonus
This ZSUS portable monitor, despite its compact 10.5-inch size, supports 1280P (1920x1280) Full HD resolution. With such high resolution packed into a small screen, the picture quality felt truly clear. Furthermore, with HDR support, it delivers vibrant colors and excellent contrast for a lively visual experience.
What particularly surprised me was the 100% sRGB color gamut and 8-bit color depth. Thanks to this, colors are rich and bright, displaying actual colors more accurately. The brightness of 420 cd/㎡ was also completely sufficient for indoor use. I didn't expect such crisp and accurate color reproduction from this small monitor – it was truly unexpectedly high quality.
As confirmed by other reviews, many users also shared my sentiment, saying "the picture quality is good enough to use," "the picture quality is great," and "color expression is clear and natural, leading to high satisfaction for video watching or photo editing." This confirmed that my impression wasn't wrong.
It also offers a 60Hz refresh rate, providing smooth and delicate screen transitions. This is sufficient performance for gaming or watching videos. I confirmed that it works well with Windows 11, being automatically recognized with its 1920x1280 resolution. It truly feels optimized for use as a sub-monitor. However, text might appear small, so you may need to adjust the scaling in settings. Since I primarily use it for YouTube, this isn't a major issue for me.
However, there was a review mentioning, "The screen is very bright, but reflections are strong. It seems to be a glare panel." I personally didn't experience much discomfort, so it wasn't something I felt strongly. Especially when used indoors, it wasn't a big problem, and given the excellent picture quality, it was acceptable.

On the side, there are two Type-C ports and one Mini HDMI port. The Type-C ports, in particular, are full-function interfaces that can transmit both power and data simultaneously, allowing for a clean connection with just one cable. (For my PC, I use two cables for power and signal.) The Mini HDMI port is also built-in, and it's said to have undergone 3000 plug-in tests, so its durability should be reliable.
What devices can it connect to? It allows multi-platform one-line connection. Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PS3/4/5, mobile devices, as well as PCs and laptops! You can easily connect it via Type-C or HDMI ports. I mainly use it as a secondary monitor for my laptop, and it's recognized immediately upon connection, allowing me to use it conveniently without any special setup.

One of the core features of this monitor is its compatibility with Samsung DeX. I was initially disappointed that the connection cable wasn't included and thought I'd have to buy one, but another user confirmed that a 60W fast-charging PD C-to-C cable, easily found on online marketplaces like Amazon, worked perfectly for Samsung DeX. This means you don't need expensive cables to connect your smartphone for various uses.
Unexpected Speakers Included
Better than nothing!
The build quality of the product doesn't really look premium, but I don't think that's a big problem. I'd give it high marks for picture quality. Also, dual speakers are built-in, so you can enjoy sound without a separate speaker. The sound quality is comparable to having your phone's speaker on full volume, so it's best not to expect too much, but it's definitely better than nothing.

Ah, one regrettable point is the lack of VESA mounting holes. However, if you don't need VESA mounting, I think it can be a pretty good choice. Since it's small, a regular stand is usually sufficient.

This ZSUS 10.5-inch portable monitor, despite its small size, is a product that covers all the basics with excellent picture quality, wide compatibility, and decent build quality. The fast response time and lack of ghosting allowed for smooth gaming and video watching, which was very satisfying overall. Especially using it in portrait mode, which optimizes space utilization, was a big plus for me. However, since its good picture quality at a low price has been confirmed, I think a larger monitor than 10 inches might be more versatile. So, if this company offers a product larger than 10 inches, that would be even better. I highly recommend it to those who, like me, need a secondary monitor in a small space or are looking for a portable monitor for outdoor use!
